Are you funny, creative, or just plain bored? You've come to the right place!

Here you can submit your own comic to be posted on Things That Matter!

You can submit a fully illustrated comic, just the script, or an illustration with empty speech bubbles. Our team of writers and artists can fill in the missing pieces. If you would like to draw your own comic please take a moment to read the design pointers at the bottom of this page. Please do not submit anything too obscene or graphic, we reserve the right to edit anything as we see fit.

Simply compile your idea and mail it to us using the following link. Include your name (full name or just initials) and a title for the comic so we can give you credit for your submission.

Design pointers

•Make sure your comic is readable when resized to 800px wide. It can be as tall as you would like (don't go crazy), but 800px is the maximum that will fit the site and all comics exceeding this width will be resized to fit. Comics can be smaller than 800px wide, of course.

•For fonts I generally use Futura and Snell Roundhand. Serif fonts are whatever I feel like that day. Feel free to use whatever fits the comic, but if you want to match the existing artwork you should stick to those two fonts.

•The background color of the site is #161616, so stick to lighter colors for the frames if possible so it doesn't blend into the background.

• The site's color palette is really simple: #161616, #76d3f3, #ffffff, and #000000. Using those colors will unify it with the theme of the site if you would like to do so.
